Kelly also described living with “anticipatory grief” for almost a decade as Ozzy’s health declined. She had thought that experience might prepare her for eventually losing him, but said her father’s death fundamentally changed her.

The Documentary Made the NTA Appearance Personal

That history was closely connected to why Kelly was at the National Television Awards. She attended to represent her family’s BBC documentary, “Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home,” which was nominated in the Authored Documentary category.

The program follows the final chapter of Ozzy’s life as he and Sharon planned to leave Los Angeles and return to the United Kingdom. Kelly appears in the documentary alongside members of her family.

“Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home” faced “Caroline Flack: Search For The Truth,” “Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix,” “Our Girls: The Southport Families,” and “Sir Chris Hoy: Cancer, Courage And Me” in its category.

Despite appearing at the NTAs on behalf of the documentary, Kelly revealed on the red carpet that she had never watched it. Speaking to Metro, she said watching the program remained too painful because of its subject matter.
