Trouble Understanding Others
If you find yourself struggling to understand what others are saying or your brain feels “foggy,” it may mean blood flow to your brain’s language center is compromised.
What You Should Do Immediately
If you experience any of these symptoms — even for a few minutes — don’t wait. Call emergency services right away. Early medical attention can prevent a minor warning stroke (TIA) from turning into a major one.
You can also protect your brain health by:
Eating heart-healthy foods (fruits, vegetables, olive oil, nuts)
Exercising regularly
Controlling blood pressure and sugar levels
Avoiding smoking and excess alcohol
